Week 8: Ferdinand Illustration

It's A Start...

This isn't my final illustration of Ferdinand. I am going to be asking for feedback from peers to see what can be improved and/or added/subtracted from it. Once I get the feedback I need, I will fix it and eventually start creating the GIF along with it. 

Peer Feedback

• foreground grass texture seems too distracting
• foreground grass texture works well in creating depth
• add some tone to the bull so it doesn't look too flat
• decrease the weight of the strokes on the bull
• get rid of some of the little flowers

Revisions

Originally the illustration was 8.5x11 inches. I changed it from one page to a spreadsheet of 16x10 inches. I am planning on putting the text on the other side of the page.

This one has the text in the illustration.

Added a shadow to the cow, and this is what the final illustration looks like.
