There are two options I am proposing to do for the final project:
Children's Storybook
The main protagonist of this story is my pug Ying. I was thinking of creating a cute comical children's storybook of Ying getting into trouble, and the owner has to keep saying things like "No Ying, no! Don't eat the poop!" and "No Ying, no! Don't roll around in the dirty laundry!" It would approximately be 6 to 10 pages long and 7.5x7.5 inches, and I would end the story by him laying on his owner's lap with text that says "Yes Ying, yes. Good boy." I believe this would be a very cute storybook for kids.
Here is a website I can use to create my book:
Book Baby.
This project will be approximately $40-$50 total. It'll require a lot of work though for I'd need to also create a cover for my book as well as the illustrations. There is an option to publish the book online (which I'm considering doing), that way my illustrations can be seen by others who like reading online.
There is another website to create a photo book, and I would only have to pay for shipping. There is an option to add some text too:
FreePrints Photobooks.

Short Animation Video (approximately 1-2 minutes long)
So I've never created an animation video before. This one would be the most difficult and time consuming since I have no knowledge of the app software to use. But I definitely believe this is a great way to expand my portfolio. Anyway, if I pick this option I was thinking of doing a video about my cat Jasper, who we found alongside a mountain spring in the woods near Welsh Mountain. The story would have to be somewhat made up because we don't know how he got there in the first place. With that in mind, I was thinking of opening the video of Jasper playing with yarn in a house and manages to escape through an open window. He wanders in the woods for a while until it gets dark and he gets scared for he doesn't know his way back. He eventually comes across the mountain spring and sits there in hopes his owner finds him. Several days go by and a car pulls up the spring and its his owner crying tears of joy. Jasper is relieved he's found and the video ends with him sleeping on his owner's lap while being drove home.
This project wouldn't require me to spend any money for I can just use the Adobe programs.
Here's a photo of him that I'll base the plushie from:

After thinking this through I think the best project for me to do would be the children's storybook. Perhaps during the summer I can create my animation video for fun.
